Annual Winter Film Series Kicks off this Sunday

Sunday, January 21, 1:30 – 3:30 Cornwall Public Library The movie GRACIE’S BACKYARD will be shown as the first of Transition Cornwall +’s Annual Winter Film series, in partnership with the Cornwall Public Library.  Expanding on the success of previous TC+ Food Action Group film events, this four-part Winter Film Series will cover a variety of issues that branch across all four Transition Cornwall+ Action Groups. Light refreshments will be served and a lively discussion will follow the film to help answer questions and brainstorm new ideas for the various Action Groups. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

Gracie’s Backyard is a documentary film about the “northernmost commercial permaculture farm on the planet”. Located at 59 degrees North near Sunne, Sweden, Ridgedale Permaculture is a 10-hectare farm the integrates pastured eggs, broiler chickens, market gardens, agro-forestry systems (and more!) into a enterprise that creates livelihoods while regenerating landscapes.
