Thursday, August 24, 11:00-1:00, Cornwall Public Library The Transition Cornwall+ Food Action Group will be setup outside of the library on Second Street with different species of tomato. Everyone is invited to celebrate and taste the tomatoes, whether they bring heirloom samples, their own favourites, or no tomatoes at all. Experts will be on hand to give advice on how to grow tomatoes, prepare healthy recipes, save seeds, and preserve tomatoes for winter. That sounds just yummy!
