Canadian Scientist Presents Research on Toxic Birds in the St. Lawrence River

Wednesday, March 1, 7:00 Schnitzels European Flavors, Pitt St. Cornwall, Science and Nature on Tap explores the topic of toxic birds and the unusually high levels of flame retardant chemicals being found in gulls from the Montreal region. Jonathan Verreault, Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Comparative Avian Toxicology; Centre de recherche en toxicologie de l’environnement (TOXEN), Département des sciences biologiques, Université du Québec à Montréal, Montréal, QC will lead this session. Sessions  are free but space is limited.
