January 18, 1 – 3:30 pm, FED UP, at Cornwall Public Library. Transition Cornwall+ Food Action Group is kicking off its 2015 programming with a free viewing of a film that just might change your life. It certainly will change the way you eat. It will be shown at 1.00 pm, on Sunday, January 18, at the Cornwall Public Library.

The film looks at the uncontrolled consumption of sugar in our diets and its role in skyrocketing obesity, especially among children. The movie states that 80% of the over 600,000 food items sold in America have added sugar, and over 95% of all Americans will be overweight or obese in two decades, with one in three having diabetes by 2050.
This film is essential viewing for anyone concerned with theirs and their family’s health. ‘Fed UP is poised to be The Inconvenient Truth of the health movement’, writes Amy Nicholson of LA Weekly.
The afternoon includes good conversation and delicious soup. Everyone is welcome!
