City of Cornwall’s Strategic Plan responds to public opinion

During the month of May 2013, City of Cornwall staff held Community Engagement sessions. (Citizens visionary comments may be found on the city website.) Subsequently the City of Cornwall’s Strategic Plan 2013-2015 was published. The vision states: Proud of our past and excited about our future, Cornwall will be the city of choice on the great St. Lawrence River. Transition Cornwall + is thrilled to see ‘sustainability’ as a value included in this plan. Infrastructure strategy has active transportation and mass transit as priorities. As part of the Vibrant and Healthy Quality of Life section, the implementation of the bike and pedestrian master plan is going forward. Transition Cornwall+ is proud to be partnered with the City of Cornwall. The Strategic Plan may be found at the following website:
